Brick and Mortar Investments
While in Citigroup, Dali and KC have made a total of 15 investments valued at MYR61.6 million. The deal size averaged MYR4.1 million with the largest being MYR14.0 million.

Technology Investments
The first ICT Fund, namely Mavcap ICT Sdn Bhd, has made 11 investments. It started operations in mid-2002, and was fully invested by end-2004. Since then there have been 3 successful exits so far with IRR ranging from 40% to 60%. On the whole, the estimated value of the ICT Fund is approximately -5% against gross investment value (i.e. inclusive of Management Fees). A majority of the investments have yet to be harvested.
On top of this, the performance should also be viewed in the context of: (a) nation building charter, (b) more than 40% allocation for SEED investments - which takes time to mature, and (c) 100% exposure to the ICT sector.
In late 2008, the second ICT Fund, called DTA Growth Capital Sdn Bhd, started operations. It has since invested in a healthcare provider which is now listed on SGX Catalist. Currently the Fund is committed to another investment in a global provider of web-based School Management System.
Others
Separately (prior to 2002), DTA has successfully raised debt and equity finance worth some MYR72.0 million. These consist of placements of Preference Shares (MYR50 million), Common Shares (MYR17 million) and Debt Finance (MYR5 million). The founding partner has also completed a MYR200m corporate restructure of a listed group on the KLSE Main Board.
DTA Capital Partners Sdn. Bhd. (DTA) was founded in 1996. In the early days, it specialized in advising, structuring and procuring equity or equity-linked finance schemes for Malaysian-based companies.
